The lovely Dini @ Dini Panda Reads has tagged me in this Would You Rather — Bookish Edition tag.
I struggle with making difficult decisions, so I think this post will be a little harder to do.
Answer the questions given to you by your nominator.
Make up your own questions and tag others.
Sounds easy, right? Well, lets see …
Would you rather have to read the last chapter of every new book first, or never read the last chapter?
Wow, the difficult questions start right off the bat, huh? I’d rather read the last chapter first instead of just not knowing what happens in the end.
Would you rather have someone ruin the ending of a book for you or never finish a book you were reading?
Building on my last answer, I guess I’d rather have someone ruin the ending over being left hanging. If I’m really enjoying the book, I look forward to the last chapter!
Would you rather lose your place or get a paper cut every time you read a book?
Lose my place, please! With the amount of time I spend reading books, I’d just be a walking paper cut. OUCH!
Would you rather be friends with Hermione Granger or Matilda?
Definitely Hermoine! She’s one of my all-time favorite HP characters, and it doesn’t hurt that she’s older than Matilda. Plus, hopefully she’d have some fun book recommendations!
Would you rather wait five years for the final installment in a series or get it now, but must read every spoiler before you can start reading it?
Welllllll, as a reader of A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin, I’ve been waiting NINE YEARS for the book 6 of 7 with no expected publishing date in sight, so I think 5 years is something I can handle.
Would you rather reread your least favorite book monthly or never be able to read your favorite book again?
I don’t reread books too often, so I’d rather not being able to read my favorite book again. At least I have this in common with Dini!
Would you rather read in an isolated cabin that was infested with spiders or in a noisy coffee shop with bad music?
Isolated cabin? Sure! Infested with spiders? Oh, HELL NO! Noisy coffee shop with bad music it is.
Would you rather have the ability to read minds, but never be able to read another book or live as you are now and keep reading?
Reading minds would be a really nifty talent, but I wouldn’t want to give up reading books. Sticking with my lack of ability to read minds is just fine for me.
Would you rather read a novel based on a true story of someone you know or a fictional novel where a character is based on you?
I love fiction so much, and I think it would be really cool to be immortalized in a fictional novel. I’d love to see what fictional me does in a book!
Would you rather have a book where anything you write in it becomes true or have a book that contains all the knowledge in the universe?
Is this really a question? I’d obviously pick a book where anything I write becomes true! The possibilities are endless — writing away my student loans, ensuring I have enough money to buy all the books, have a house (or isolated, spider-free cabin) full of bookshelves, make reading a full-time paying job, and being able to do nice things for others!
Making up my own questions ... how's this one:
Would you rather read a great book FULL of typos or a terrible book?
