Today is day 13 of the Bookish New Year’s Challenge created by Tabatha from Broken Soul Reviews and today’s post is about authors I discovered in 2019.
2019 rekindled my passion for reading. I’d always been too busy to read, between all of my professional and personal responsibilities. However, 2019 brought about major changes in my life. The biggest change was that my own health issues sidelined me from participating in a lot of responsibilities that I was used to. I quickly realized that there’s only so much TV I can watch before I can actually feel my brain turning to mush, and I returned to reading. Books and the bookish community have been good to me, especially in 2019.
I read a lot of books in 2019, and the majority of them were by authors who were new to me. Some of my absolute favorite authors (separated by genre) include:
Sarah J. Maas
Helen S. Fields
Gina L. Maxwell
Who were your favorite authors of 2019?
